Communications and Publicity Committee provides communication of member to member, chapter to state organizations, and they encourage communication with other constituencies. The committee is responsible for publishing and sending the chapter newsletter, creating and updating chapter website, publish annual yearbook, and send information to newspapers and other news outlets.
Finance Committee provides supervision of the society's financial affairs by preparing a budget for chapter review and approval and an annual audit of finances. The Committee is also creates the criteria for the grant-in-aide recipients, selects the grant-in-aide recipient, and plans and conducts fundraisers to raise funds for the grant-in-aide.
Membership Committee is provides for recruitment and induction of new members, training sessions for new and old members and organizes remembrance ceremonies for deceased members.
Nominations and Rules Committee creates slate of officers for the new biennium and revises chapter rules, as needed, to reflect those of Delta Kappa Gamma.
Society Mission and Purpose Committees
Educational Excellence Committee promotes programs and projects for excellence in education such as projects to support beginning teachers and promoting Schools for Africa.
Professional Growth and Service Projects Committee oversees special projects, such as literacy, keep members aware of those with special needs, and update phone chain.
Professional Affairs Committee keeps members updated on laws and policies pertaining to education and encourages interest and participation in activities designed to improve the professional status of women educators.

Lambda members donated reading material to local businesses and schools to encourage literacy. Adults and children can read books or magazines while waiting at a doctor's office or for laundry to dry at laundromats.

2022-2024 Projects Story Walk-Lambda is currently planning a literacy project named Story Walk. Story walk was was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library. Pages from children's books would be placed in weather protected stands along a path in the local park. The project encourages literacy and exercise for children. Lambda is currently fundraising and planning the project. A site for story walk has been chosen. At this time over half of the projected cost has been raised. Grant-in-Aid: Lambda Chapter has partnered with the University of North Carolina at Pembroke to identify a deserving student enrolled in the educational program. The chapter provides monetary funds for that student's education..
